Designed for church workers and their spouses to explore and grow in practices that foster Christ-like Servant Leadership in their relationship, to reconnect as a couple, rediscover God’s vision for marriage, and refresh this focus in their home, congregation, and community.
How will KINDLE: Couples benefit you and your spouse?
KINDLE: Couples is a “pause point” for participating couples to disconnect from the demands of daily life and reconnect with one another, reflect on God’s vision for marriage, engage with practical resources that promote Christ-like Servant Leadership in the home and beyond, and find encouragement through gathering with like-minded Christian couples.
This learning event will explore KINDLE practices for building Christ-like servant leadership as a couple, focusing on practical steps to manage anxiety and conflict,promote communication, and nurture collaboration in your marriage.
Through a variety of learning modules and worship experiences, you will rediscover God’s vision for your marriage and how God might use your relationship to impact your church, community, and world.
When attending this event, you will:
- Enjoy time to reconnect with your spouse in a beautiful setting.
- Reflect on God’s unique work and call in your lives as a couple.
- Develop a growth plan integrating Christ-like servant leader practices into your marriage and home.
- Find encouragement and support from peers and the KINDLE training team.
- Receive resource ideas to impact marriages for God’s glory in your local circles
Who is Eligible to Attend?
Church staff with congregational experience (e.g., Directors of Christian Education, Parish Music, Family Life, Christian Outreach, Deaconesses and Lay Ministers). Upon registering, participants are encouraged to consider identifying and inviting a couple from their congregation who has a heart for marriage ministry and Christ-like Servant Leadership.
