Being around KINDLE since its early beginnings, I remember how excited we were about the word “multiply.” I am still excited! I had been taught from my Director of Christian Education (DCE) training at what was then Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska that my main ministry focus was to “equip the saints” (Ephesians 4:12) and I bought in, wholeheartedly.
The “how” of equipping the saints, however, eluded me for many years. KINDLE planted in me the strategies and mindset of multiplying Christ-like servant leaders and I will forever be grateful. And here we are as an organization meeting up with God’s economy once more in the
Equip Serve Multiply campaign. God has multiplied our individual efforts and gifts in amazing ways. He is still at it with KINDLE—still teaching us what it means to multiply and inviting us into the process.
